I.C.P.O. - Islands, Castles & Portable Operations

Rich OM2TW and Joe OM5AW will be active from the Bijol Islands (AF-060) for about 10 hours on October 21st. Callsign will be C50C and look for them on 14260 and 21260 kHz. They will use 100W (maybe less) with 100 Ah battery. QSL via OM2FY. [OM3JW]

Rick, K6VVA will be going back to Revillagigedo Island (NA-041) again for the ARRL 160m Contest (Nov 30 - Dec 02) operating as KL8C, and also hopes to be QRV on other bands as K6VVA/KL7 again (the Sept/2007 QSLs are being printed - QSL via N6AWD).

The operating QTH has a great over-salt-water path to the U.S. and much of Europe, although condx in Sept. were not good for EU. There is a big hill in the direction of JA, so Rick may try to operate from the other side of the Island with a clear shot to JA for a while during the daytime/non-160m hours (if not this trip, then the next time).
