BBC calls for more shortwave broadcast spectrum

A BBC leaflet produced for WRC-07 calls for more shortwave broadcast spectrum.

It comments that there is no spectrum available in the 4-5 MHz bands for International Broadcasting.

The leaflet also points out that some broadcasters already operate outside the Broadcast Bands defined by the ITU. They say this affects an estimated 330 kHz of spectrum outside of the broadcast bands between 4 and 10 MHz.
