Earth pictures sent from space station by Amateur Radio
The Amateur Radio Slow Scan TV (SSTV) system on the International Space Station (ISS) has been sending back pictures of the Earth as it flies overhead at a speed of some 28000 km/h.
The SSTV transmissions take place in the Amateur Radio 2 metre band on a frequency of 145.800 MHz FM.
During Wednesday they came from a camera pointing towards Earth.
