Ofcom - Cardiff and Manchester interleaved TV spectrum awards

On Wednesday the UK regulator Ofcom published its statement on geographic interleaved TV spectrum awards covering Cardiff and Manchester, setting out its intention to hold an auction of this digital dividend spectrum in each case.

The RF spectrum concerned is in the frequency bands 542 to 550 MHz and 758 to 766 MHz.

Alongside the statement, Ofcom also published an Information Memorandum and a Notice of its intention to make the necessary regulations for the awards, inviting comments on drafts of the regulations by 25 November 2008.
