Kerkennah Island

Members of the France Provins ARC (F6KOP) and some international operators will activate Kerkennah Island
(AF-073) using the callsign TS7C between January 8-19th (2009).

This is the same group who activated J5C, XT2C, 5H1C, TO7C, 5V7C and many others. This 12 day operation would not be possible without the help of Mustapha, DL1BDF.

Activity will be on all HF bands using CW, SSB, FM, and several different digital modes like RTTY, PSK31, BPSK and also SSTV. The team will pay special attention to 160, 80 and 40m but will also be on all of the other bands. They plan to have at least 6 (possibly 7) stations on the air 24 hours a day using amps into beams, verticals and wire antennas.

The team consists of more than 25 operators and specialists, namely:
