WAB is Changing

In an email on the Monitoring Monthly Yahoo group, Worked All Britain Awards Manager Dave, G4IAR, says the WAB awards are changing.

He writes:

May I be allowed to let people know that the Worked All Britain Awards scheme is changing from 1st January 2009.

We are dropping the way the grid squares are divided by county and Unitary Authorities as numerous changes in the past and those planned have severely affected the current scheme.

We will be adopting purely the grid squares, divided only where there is a country boundary. We hope this will make the scheme easier to understand and bring us stability.

Next year is also our Ruby Anniversary, and a special award, culminating in a trophy is being run. This is FREE to WAB members.

The new record book package in now available in readiness for the 1st January, this is priced at a mere £6 for the printed booklet & two CD ROMs!

Many thanks for your time.
