Big L looking to recruit 'unpaid volunteer DJs'The 'new' Big L International, which says it is to resume broadcasts on 1395 kHz as of 1 November, is apparently going to be another low-cost operation. On the Friends of Big L website, the management have placed the following announcement: “Do you have a dynamic personality and a face for radio? Unpaid volunteer DJs required for weekdays and weekend slots on an up and coming European station. Applicants must have own studio and can perform to a strict policy. Future work may require sea legs! Please respond to admin@biglradio.co.uk with contact details, a brief resume of your experience to date and a demo tape of 30 minutes with a minimal of 6 links in crash and roll style. You must be over 18 years of age.”
