Editor's comment:
The appointment of Mitch Wolfson, DJ0QN to the DARC Board represents something of a milestone for Germany's national society, as he is the first-ever non-German to be elected to the Board.

Originally from Los Angeles in California, where he holds the callsign K7DX, Mitch has lived in Munich since 1977, and holds the German callsign DJ0QN, which he acquired soon after his arrival there.

His responsibilities as a DARC board member include marketing and PR, international relations and emergency communications.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish him every success in his new role.
