GB2TI at showing of 'Tune In' movie
In conjunction with Barking Radio & Electronics Society (BRES), the Loughton & Epping Forest Amateur Radio Society (LEFARS) will be operating GB2TI from Hanbury Hall, this coming weekend October 24-25.
'Tune In' is a 2006 short film about amateur radio by filmmaker Esther Johnson and is being shown as part of the 'This Is Not A Gateway' festival. You may recall an appeal in Radcom some months back for local clubs to participate in this event.
Members of LEFARS will be running the Special Event Station on Saturday Oct 24 and BRES on Sunday. If you wish to attend this event, you should aim to arrive at Hanbury Hall from around 10.00. Please note that there is limited on-road parking and the public car park, just off Hanbury Street, costs £12 per day. However, Liverpool Street station is about 10 minutes stroll from the venue.
Location: Hanbury Hall, 22 Hanbury Street, London, E1 6QR
