G5RV's 1932 Logbook sells

Charles, M0WYM reports that the 1932 logbook of probably Britain's best-known radio amateur, the late Louis Varney, G5RV, which had been put up for auction on e-Bay, has now been sold.

In a message to Southgate News, Charles says:

On October 1st, the 1932 logbook of Louis Varney, G5RV, was put up for auction on eBay.

Within a couple of days the price reached £77 where it stayed until today (Sunday).

After some intense bidding on Sunday, the logbook finally sold for £227.
