Ofcom - Study of high performance filtering options

On Thursday the UK regulator Ofcom published an independent report from a study assessing the design of high performance radio frequency filters to improve the compatibility between adjacent radio services.

The filters are designed for use in mobile network base stations operating in the 790-862 MHz and 917-921 MHz bands and in radar receivers operating in the 2.7-3.1 GHz band.

The study by Isotek Electronics Limited relates to the awards of the 800MHz, 872MHz and 2.6GHz bands.
