SumbandilaSat transponder to be activated over North America

The FM transponder on the SumbandilaSat Amateur Radio satellite will be activated over North America today Saturday October 24 at 19:52 UTC.

The SA AMSAT website gives the following test schedule

24 October (all times in UTC):

07:35 – 07:46 (over Eastern part of Southern Africa)
09:06 – 09:21 (over central part of Southern Africa)
19:52 – 20:03 (over Western part of Canada/North America)
20:42 – 20:55 (over Eastern part of Southern Africa)
22:15 – 22:27 (over central part of Southern Africa)

The CTCSS tone for the transponder is 233.6 Hz.
Uplink: 145.875MHz
Downlink: 435.345MHz

Additional recommendations:
Use only narrow band FM [presumably that means 2.5 kHz deviation instead of the normal 5 kHz ?]
Switch off compression
Speak softly (mic gain down)
