SwissCube rotation

The speed of rotation of the Amateur Radio satellite SwissCube increased sharply at the end of September but it now seems to be slowing down

Measurements taken by Michel Vonlanthen HB9AFO show that the rotation of the Amateur Radio satellite SwissCube has slowed over the last few days. Michel made his measurements on orbits where AX.25 packet was being transmitted since a continuous carrier is required.

The SwissCube team turned on the Attitude Determination and Control Subsystem (ADCS) on September 28 in an attempt to reduce the already high rotation rate but instead the speed of rotation increased further from 0.74 to 3.7 rotations a second.
