Amateur Radio Intermediate class and 4th Bath Buildathon

The Bath Amateur Radio Club's classes continue to prove popular with both Foundation and Morse currently being run and
there's a chance for you to join their Intermediate class starting in November.

An Intermediate course is planned to start on Thursday November 4.

There are seven Foundation students hoping to progress straightaway, but there is room for more to join in the fun. The classes are held close to Bath city centre between 7 and 9pm every Thursday.

Linked to the Intermediate course, the 4th Bath Buildathon will provide an excellent opportunity for Intermediate students to complete their radio project in a single day's workshop on Saturday the 8th January. Others will be welcome to sign up but there will be a limt on numbers to ensure good levels of supervision, so if you are interested, best apply early.

This year the project looks like being a superhet receiver for 20m, but that is still to be confirmed.

Enquiries for both the Intermediate course and the Buildathon should be directed to Steve, G0FUW, on 01225 464394 (evenings 7-9pm, except Thursdays) or via e-mail to his callsign @ tiscali.co.uk
