BPL 'to move aggressively into Smart Energy'Information Week reports that Broadband over Power Line (BPL) could move more aggressively into smart energy following the ratification of the IEEE 1901 standard on Monday. Broadband over Power Line causes widespread pollution of the radio spectrum ruining peoples' enjoyment of their favourite radio show. The move to smart meters offers the BPL industry an opportunity to get their polluting products into every home in the country.
