Poole radio amateurs in Channel 4 TV showRadio hams from the Poole Radio Society (G4PRS) took part in a Channel 4 TV show 'Titanic: The Mission' which is now available on the web. In the show a 100-year-old Marconi Emergency Wireless Transmitter similar to that used on the Titanic was restored. The spark transmitter and a receiver were then enclosed in a Faraday cage at Dalston Point in Dorset and audio from the receiver was relayed by the Poole Radio Society station G4PRS/P to a vessel a short distance offshore. It is believed the station on the vessel was M0PTR although the callsign was partially obscured.
