Encouraging response to RSGB questionnaire

The survey of amateur radio within the UK was formally launched last weekend at the National Hamfest with a personal questionnaire for all radio amateurs.

In its first week, nearly 600 questionnaires have been completed. 69% of those completing the questionnaire have been RSGB members, but it is encouraging to note that 18% were from radio amateurs whose membership of the RSGB had lapsed and the remainder had never been members of the National Society.

The survey will be active until 31st December and all radio amateurs are encouraged to participate as well as give help to those who find difficulty in accessing the internet or using computers. There will be an opportunity to complete the Questionnaire at this weekend’s RSGB Convention.
