DXpedition to Temotu, H40KJ

Polish ham operator Jacek, SP5DRH, has released the following information:

"After our Fiji experience in October 2009 we are targeting Temotu Province in the Pacific for October 7-22. Both SP3BQ and I are 160 meter fans and that will be our main effort. If we have no propagation on 160 meters, we will go to 80 meters.

"CW will be our main mode, but some Digi operation is planned, however only on 30 and 20 meters. Due to the lack of power there will be only one station running at a time. Depending on propagation we will be active on higher bands as well. We don’t need to beat any QSO records, we would like to give each of our TOP BAND fellows a chance to work TEMOTU.

"We will listen 2 kHz up and more and will never answer on our frequency. We do not accept “tail ending” either. JA QSX will be announced when calling CQ. Internet access during the operation will be very limited, so please send inquiries to our pilot only. On-line logs will be updated every two days. H40KJ log will be uploaded to LoTW soon after our return home. Rys, SP5EWY, will again be our pilot.

"We will try to operate from Honiara on 160 and 30 meters Digi on our way back home."
