ARISS event - Sanderson High School, Texas. The event is scheduled to begin at approximately 16:08 UTC. This contact will be direct between stations NA1SS and KD5HYB, so it should be audible to anyone in the southwest United States and northern portions of Mexico listening in on the 145.80 MHz downlink. The participants are expected to conduct the conversation in English. "Sanderson is a very small community in the Chihuahuan Desert.
Our total school population, grades Pre-K through 12 is around 100 students.
The space station contact has been and will continue to be integrated
into the math, science, English and art curriculums. All students saw
a video of the recent space walk and discussed it in their science classes.
Students will ask as many of the following questions as time allows: Please note, the amateur equipment on the ISS will be turned off prior
to the beginning of the contact. It will be returned to service as quickly
