EU008 Activation

On Sunday 11 September, five members of the Workington AR and ITG, accompanied by the drm for Cumbria, arrive on the Isle of Mull, EU008, for a week.

They will be on HF and VHF mainly phone and FSK.
The IOTA activity will be under the call sign MS0WRC/P (Workington Radio Club) by up to three stations operating on different bands from their base near Bunessan in the South of the island.

For WAB followers, lighthouses and aids to navigation will be activated through the day. Centres of activity +- QRM will be 3.764, 7.064, 14.264 and 21.264. The call sign will be the operator /P or /M

Not exactly Rockall, but not bad for a club that struggles to keep its membership in double figures.

I hope the midges are dormant for the winter.
