Progress Cargo Ship Docks With Space Station

The Expedition 11 crew welcomed Saturday's arrival of the ISS Progress 19 spacecraft at 10:42 a.m. EDT.

The Russian cargo ship brought more than 2 1/2 tons of food, fuel and spare parts to the orbiting outpost.
The supply ship had launched Thursday at 9:08 a.m. EDT from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, Russia

Clearing the way for this delivery, the ISS Progress 18 resupply craft, which the crew had filled earlier with items to be discarded from the Station, was undocked from the aft port of the Zvezda Service Module Wednesday at 6:26 a.m. EDT.

After separating from the Station, the Progress spacecraft deorbited at 9:26 a.m. EDT and safely burned up in the Earth's atmosphere over the Pacific Ocean around 10 a.m. EDT.
