Tassie gets new IRLP node

Well it's finally come to fruition!
Tasmania's North West has its own IRLP Node.

For some time now, Tony VK7AX has been working on the establishment of an IRLP Node for exclusive use in the North West Area.

We are pleased to announce that a new IRLP Node Number 6124 has been commissioned and is linked to the 2 metre repeater VK7RNW at Lonah.

It is currently running under the call of VK7AX, however shortly the call will be transferred to VK7NW, the Club Station of NWTARIG.

All the usual facilities such as broadcast file replays, Voicemail, weather reports, time checks similar to node 6700 are also available.

It is anticipated that EchoIRLP facilities will also be installed on the new node in the near future.
