Veronica Radio School launches new website

The Dutch commercial broadcaster Veronica has launched a website in conjunction with its new project the Veronica Radio School.

The Radio School aims to be a platform for young people in the Netherlands interested in working in radio, and hopes to attract new talent. The School plans to set up its own Web radio station for participants to make their own programmes.

In August, it opened its doors in Hilversum with a class of 24 young people aged 16-25, who will receive practical training to become professional broadcasters. The school has its own bus containing a radio studio which will tour the country.

The Veronica Radioschool is a non-commercial initiative and is the first of its kind in the Netherlands
