It’s show time for the RSGBThe Radio Society of Great Britain will be attending the 2006 Leicester Amateur Radio Show at the Donington International Exhibition Centre, Leicestershire over Friday 8 and Saturday 9 September. The Leicester Amateur Radio Show is the largest event of its type in the UK. This year there will be the usual line-up of amateur radio equipment traders and club stands. The show will also include a convention programme with a number of well-known lecturers. The RSGB will be contributing to the show in a number of ways. RadCom editor Alex Kearns, M3LSZ, and technical editor Giles Read, G1MFG, will be doing a presentation and question and answer session on RadCom magazine. The society is also offering attendees of this year’s event a special offer. Anyone who signs up to become a member of the RSGB at the show will receive a special discount off the standard membership fee. The society will also be running a book stall, where showgoers can obtain the latest RSGB publications, including the 2007 Yearbook and Callseeker 2007.
