Activity field day commemorating World War I

The Radio Club of Passendale is calling on UK radio amateurs to participate in a special activity field day to commemorate the Commonwealth soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the First World War.

Running from 9 to 12 November, the event takes place at Tyne Cot in Belgium. This is the largest cemetery of soldiers killed during the First World War.

Radio Club of Passendale members will run special event station ON4PTC from the cemetery over the four days of the event.

If you are interested in participating in the event, contact Radio Club of Passendale secretary Ivan Vanthuyne, ON4CBU, at e-mail on4cbu@vra.be.

You can find out more about the event on the web at zwvrac.vra.be.
