ARISS-Europe Board elections

1. ARISS-Europe Board elections - Candidates
According to ARISS-Europe Terms of Reference, a call for candidates was circulated March 14th 2007.

Four candidatures were presented:
· candidate chairman: Gaston Bertels, ON4WF UBA
· candidate technical director: Florio dalla Vedova, LX2DV     (IW2NMB) AMSAT-Italy
· counsellor 1: Joerg Hahn, DL3LUM DARC
· counsellor 2: Christophe Mercier AMSAT-France

June 30th 2007, member societies were invited to cast one vote four each seat.

2. Voting Results
All four candidates have been elected unopposed.

3. Member societies
Accordingly to ARISS-Europe Terms of Reference, the newly elected board takes office on the 1st of October 2007.
The Board is elected for a term of two years.
