DARC offers civil help to German authority

The Deutscher Amateur Radio Club (DARC), represented by its president Jochen Hindruchs, DL9KCX, recently sent a letter to the German Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK).

In this letter the DARC offers its civil help in cases of emergency.

The DARC underlines the fact that amateur radio stations are technically independent and that the DARC-structure with districts and local clubs fits the structure of the regional authorities
