Over 2,000 visitors: DARC Day of Open Doors successful

Over 2,000 visitors took the chance to take a look behind the scenes of the Deutscher Amateur Radio Club HQ and DARC Inc. on September 8th, says Helga Gautsche, DO1FIB, general manager of DARC.

Together with members, friends and local visitors we celebrated 35 years of our HQ and 80 years of organised amateur radio in Germany, she says.

Some of that day's highlights were the first amateur radio market at the HQ as well as "Contesting life!" at the DAØWAE-team.

Even though the weather was not that good, exhibitors and visitors kept their good mood and agreed in that fourth day of open doors being a real success
