DXpedition to Ducie Island, VP6DX

A big International DXpedition to Ducie Island, VP6DX in the South Pacific is planned to take place February 10 through 28, 2008.

It will be headed by the German DXer Carsten, DLLAU and will comprise DXers from Germany, the USA, Russia, Poland, Estonia and Greece.

They will set up 7 stations; 5 will have a KW amplifier provided by the Bulgarian company ACOM; 2 will be used at 100 watts. All bands 160 to 6 meters and all modes as well as phased vertical dipole antennas will be used.
