RSGB Region 12 Manager to visit Chingford

The RSGB's Region 12 Manager, Phillip Brooks G4NZQ, is scheduled to visit the Loughton & Epping Forest Amateur Radio Society (LEFARS) in Chingford for the first time, on Friday, 28th September.

Accompanying Phillip will be James McGinty M0ZZO, the RSGB's Deputy Regional Manager (DRM) for Essex - You may recall that James presented a talk at All Saints House on the "Summits on the Air" (SOTA) award programme in July 2006.

As an incentive to join the RSGB, Phillip will have with him some free copies of either the 2008 Yearbook or Radio Communication Handbook, to give to those who sign up for new membership during his visit.

As with any LEFARS meeting, all-comers are welcome...

The meeting starts at 7:45 pm on Friday 28th Sept in All Saints House, Romford Road, Chigwell Row, Essex, IG7 4QD
