RTÉ on shortwave for All-Ireland finals

Irish public broadcaster RTÉ will broadcast the GAA All-Ireland Hurling final on Sunday 2 September and the All-Ireland Football final on Sunday 16 September on shortwave to Irish people living abroad.

Coverage begins at 1200 UTC. For the second year running, RTÉ will also transmit the finals on DRM to most of Europe.

The AM frequencies are as follows (some frequencies should also be audible in the Far East):

• West of Central Africa 17860 kHz/11735 kHz
• East of Central Africa 17710 kHz/11635 kHz
• Southern Africa 9470 kHz
