Anyone for Chess?

Is anyone in the London area interested in participating in an informal chess net?

Games are being played on 2 metres at weekends between Erik M0JIY and Martin 2E0UKL on 144.175 or 144.775 and occasionally over GB3NL (if one or more players are static mobile), as transmissions are fairly short this will not 'block' the repeater for other users.

At present there is no rigid timetable but play usually occurs between 7 and 10 pm Saturday or Sunday nights by an initial call on S20, if you hear them and wish to arrange a game please give out a call, and don’t worry, neither are grand masters!.

All you will need is knowledge on how to play the game plus a chess set with the standard 1-to-8 and A-to-H notation reference on the board (already printed on most chessboards).. oh, and a 2 metre radio!.
