MoD Spectrum Consultation ResponsesThe UK Ministry of Defence spectrum consultation closes on 5th September and a number of responses are now appearing on the MoD website. The Amateur and Amateur Satellite services do not have any Primary spectrum between 146 MHz and 24 GHz. The MoD consultation identifies an initial set of frequencies to be made available for use by other parties. Other public sector organisations are likely to carry out a similar exercise in the near future. Among the MoD allocations mentioned in the consultation are: 430 - 450 MHz These cover existing Amateur and Amateur Satellite service allocations.
