Murphy Radios at Mill Green Museum

A Murphy Radio and TV Day is being held at Mill Green Museum on Sunday 21st September.

Murphy Radio Ltd which was based in Welwyn Garden city used to make communication receivers for the British Royal Navy, like the model B40 as well as consumer radios and televisions.

The museum describe the event as "a fantastic collection of vintage radios made by Murphy of Welwyn Garden City. Many are in private hands and rarely seen on display so this day is very special."
