Digital Switchover - Ofcom reduce viewer notice

On Thursday the UK regulator Ofcom reduced the amount of notice given to viewers of the switch to digital television from nine months to six months

In a statement they said:

Ofcom has today amended the Digital Replacement Licences held by licensees in light of a request by Digital UK and the licence holders to reduce the amount of notice given to viewers of the switch to digital television from nine months to six months.
