VoIP Hurricane Net

The VoIP Hurricane Net will do a call up of Northern Gulf US stations on Sunday August 31st at 8 PM ET/7 PM CT [Sept 1st 0000 UT] with full activation to commence Monday morning [ET] potentially lasting well into Tuesday.

A complete activation announcement will be posted on the website late Sunday evening Eastern Time.

The VoIP SKYWARN and Hurricane Nets operate by combining both the Echolink and IRLP linked repeater networks, thus providing for more efficient and effective utilization of our available resources while handling critical wide area communications during major severe weather events.
