Ofcom - Ultra-Wideband Equipment Regulations 2009

On Monday the UK regulator Ofcom published its decision to make the Wireless Telegraphy (Ultra-Wideband Equipment) (Exemption) Regulations 2009.

The regulations replace the existing parameters for using Ultra-Wideband (UWB) equipment and enables new equipment to use UWB technology including in vehicles and Building Material Analysis (BMA) equipment.

The regulations come into force on 15 October 2009.
