First airing for MX0GBB/P club callsign

Over the full August bank holiday weekend, members of the Brigg and District Amateur Radio Club (BDARC) operated our club call sign of MX0 GBB/P for the first time.

We were 85m above see level at a member's home QTH on the Lincolnshire Wolds.

We were running a Kenwood TS870S with a Linear Amp UK amplifier at 400Watts on 80 meters SSB to a cut for Band Dipole and also a doublet on the second day.
On 20 Meters we were using a Kenwood TS480HX driving an Acom 1000 amplifier, the antenna used was a KLM 34A four element Yagi on a Versatower P60 tower.
Finally on 2/6 meters and 70cms we ran up to 50 Watts to a Diamond V2000 Colinear, the radio being a Yaesu FT8900R Quad bander.

The Team at MX0 GBB/P operated for 72 hours. We worked many stations on 20 Meters (USA ,United Arab Emirates and Finland... too name a few).

But it was 80 meters where we had massive inter 'G' pile-ups for hours that amazed us. I would just like to thank all the stations who worked the BDARC team.
