Danish rocket launch postponedDenmark's private venture rocket launch planned for Sunday, September 5 has been postponed following the discovery of a faulty valve. Copenhagen Suborbitals, which is entirely dependent on sponsors and volunteers, is led by Kristian von Bengtson and Peter Madsen. They plan to eventually launch a human into space. The current launch is a initial test flight which aims to get to a height of 30km. Copenhagen Suborbitals is using a military test area near Bornholm island in the Baltic Sea. They have use of the facility until September 17. The BBC report that when Sunday's countdown reached zero, a puff of smoke was seen from the rocket but nothing happened. A subsequent inspection found a valve controlling the flow of very cold, liquid oxygen to the motor had frozen up. Danish rocketeers postpone launch Copenhagen Suborbitals
