The 6 Biggest Misleading
MLM Headlines and Statements
Paul Penafiel
We all know that the number one reason why most prospects fail in online
mlm business is that they can't recruit, and so mlm experts will try
to use every trick in the book to lure you to sign up for their programs.
It is my opinion that these misleading headlines are contributing to
the online marketing mentality that just makes your eyes roll.
1. No Recruiting Required/We Advertise For You
If only it was that easy, everyone would be making money by now, but
as you know, it's not the case. Who are these people trying to fool,
me?
I don't think so. People are not that stupid to fall for that kind of
trick. Randomizer programs are so guilty of using this statements.
2. Generate Phenomenal Residual Cash Flow
This is one of those statement that makes your eyes roll. These people
have a way with words that it's hard for some prospects to say no, and
by the time you realize that it's going to take along time to be in
profit, you have maxed out all your credit cards.
3. Boost Your Sales Through The Roof
This headline gives you the impression that once you click right buttons,
sales will just start filling your Paypal account the next day, not
a chance.
4. Flood-in Prospects Automatically
I guess you don't need me to tell you that all you have to do is sit
back and your prospects will just come rushing through that door. This
headline hides all the work involved to attract the right prospects
for your business.
5. This Program is New, Hot/You Must Sign Up Now/Click Now before it's
too late/100 people signed up as gold level in your organization, don't
let another gold member pass you by
So if I wait a for several weeks while I do my research, this program
won't work anymore, or I will lose valuable sales, downlines and so
on, please give me a break!. Sense of urgency is a very powerful hypnotic
sales technique that most newbie don't know about so they fall for it.
6. You are literally guaranteed to be in profit within x number of days.
Oh goody, I will finally be in profit after a month, so what about
after that, how much money will I earn? will I still be in profit then?
will I lose my shirt? They won't tell you that because they cannot guaranteed
that. You need to do your own due diligence.
In conclusion, these statements are very powerful that they really
play with your mind without you knowing it. Don't believe everything
you see, hear or read because these headlines have one mission, and
that is to entice the prospects to join. If you ask me, they do more
damage to ones dreams and hopes than good.
