Amateur Radio Satellites
- AMSAT KEPS distribution approved by AFSPC
AMSAT's request to redistribute Keplerian data has
been APPROVED as of 18 March 2005 in accordance with Air Force Space
Command (AFSPC) Commander's authority
- OSCAR 11 Celebrates 21 Years
OSCAR-11 achieved 21 years in orbit on 01 March 2005.
It's still working and sending reliable telemetry on it's VHF beacon.
Congratulations to Professor Sir Martin Sweeting G3YJO and his team
for this fine achievement
- SSETI Update - March 2005
SSETI Express is the first of a series of satellites
being developed by the Education Office of ESA - The European Space
Agency as part of the "Student Space Exploration & Technology
Initiative"
- AMSAT-UK's Royal Mail Stamp Competition
Having a set of Royal Mail postage stamps on the
subject of the Amateur Radio Satellite Service will help to raise the
awareness of Amateur Radio amongst the General Public - most of whom
are unaware that a hobby called Amateur Radio even exists.
- Space Colloquium 2004
AMSAT-UK will be holding a
Space Colloquium and Symposium at the University of Surrey in Guildford
from Friday 30 July - Sunday 1 August.
